Along weds Raina; 17 August 2008

Its another wedding...
This one in truly kampung style... eat your heart out, Ning!

Arrival of the bride and groom

Gifts from the bride

Didn't mean to leave them sitting alone so long but hey, what choice did I have...

With the proud parents of the groom

The newlyweds

The beginning of a new kinship - parents of both bride and groom together

The newlyweds with one of the proud uncles

At meja pengantin ... prepared with love and sweats by the cousins...

The proud uncle taking a shut eye... wedding is indeed a trying event

Another shot of the newly weds

The young cousin who's oblivious of what was happening...

Another proud uncle...

With all the ceremony and kenduri now done, it dawned to me that once the couple starts a family, I will be a "Tok"!!!

I think denial will creep in when that happens...

Tasha Weds Ammar; 20 June 2008

Congratulations to the bride & groom!

After much drama, the wedding ceremony went well as planned and I was glad to be part of it all.

Solemnisation Ceremony; 20 June 2008

The marriage solemnisation ceremony (akad nikah) took place at Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah or better known as Masjid Shah Alam or the Blue Mosque, on Friday 20 June at 3.00 pm.

The groom ready for the solemnisation.

My favourite photo of the blushing bride with her head bowed.

Beautifully prepared hantaran & mas kahwin from the groom to the bride...

Equally beautiful gifts from the bride to the groom...

Tasha has come a long way. The girl I've known since the age of 2 is now a bride!

Yaya.. oh Yaya...

Wedding Reception; 21 June 2008

The reception, held at Kelab Shah Alam went on like clockwork.
Everything was on time amidst the final FA Cup between Kedah and Selangor at Stadium Shah Alam (and of course Kedah beat Selangor 3-2).

Bersanding ceremony

With Adin and the happy couple after the reception.

People who matters...

I wish all the best to the newly wed couple and may they live happily ever after...
